We are Janet Wright & Lorenzo Ross, a husband and wife that both work from home full time. We live on the northwest side of Chicago, in the Albany Park neighborhood, on a tree-lined street near Kimball Avenue and Montrose Avenue. We have flexible schedules and are big animal lovers. We share our time, love, and our peaceful 3 bedroom home and enclosed yard, with your cat-friendly dog when you have to leave town.

Our pets are our "children" which include three rescue cats and our adopted dogs Odie, Lily, and Herbie. Here above is Lorenzo with Odie in our yard just hours after we first brought him home 7/5/11. Our seven year old dog Odie is the perfect doggie host since he is friendly and gentle with dogs of all sizes. We couldn't resist rescuing more dogs, so in 2012 we adopted Lily and then Herbie to complete the resident dog pack. Lily loves all dogs and Herbie is our tiny friendly lovebug, weighing only 7.5lbs. All our dogs are very good about sharing their mommy and daddy and home with our guest dog. We like to maintain a relatively calm home so we will board dogs of only two clients at a time, and only if we know the dogs & know they would be compatible with each other, our dogs, & our cats. If we do combine dogs you will receive photos and info on the other dog that is visiting at the same time. With us, your dog(s) receives plenty of attentive care both night and day in our home.

Now just for homes with both cats and dogs, we also offer cat sitting visits while we are boarding your dog in our home. This way your dog gets round the clock love in our home, and your cats remain in their own environment with daily cat sitting visits.

Our dog boarding service was named after Barney, our senior rescue beagle who passed away last year who had a very delicate people-loving spirit. We chose Odie for his buddha-dog temperament, and it was just a strange coincidence that he looks so much like our last dog Barney. Lily and Herbie were also chosen for their kind hearts and sunny dispositions with all other animals.
